Ron and I have called Amherst, NH home for the last 25yrs. We moved to NH with the boys in 1992 after living in CA for the first 11yrs of our marriage. Amherst was a great place to raise a family. After a busy 20+yrs of football, lacrosse, swim meets, PTA, Football Boosters and various other (mostly)sporting activities we have been trying to embrace “empty nesting”. It’s been 7yrs and we still feel like rookies.
Ron is Vice President and General Manager of KMC Systems. I try to keep busy with almost daily visits to the gym, volunteering with a Day Away program for adults with Alzheimers and spoiling my granddaughter Bradley. Last summer I took up hiking and I am working on summiting all 48 4,000 foot peaks in the White Mountains of NH. To date, I have conquered 10 peaks (hopefully 12 by the time of the reunion). I recently passed my boating test and am now the proud owner of a NH boating license. I’m hoping to learn to drive the boat this summer (minor detail)
Kyle (32 in June) currently resides in San Diego but has promised to move home to NH after he marries Colleen on August 26. I’ll believe it when I see it! He has been in CA since 2008 and we miss him a lot. He is a CPA and works for a small firm in San Diego. Kyle graduated from American University in 2007
Sean (30 in July), Sara and Bradley live in Manchester, NH. Sean does regional outreach for Lakeview Health a residential substance abuse facility located in FL. Sara is a stay at home Mom. Bradley’s full time job is being adorable. Baby #2 is arriving in December. Sean graduated from UNH in 2011
Steven (26) and Tori live in Somerville, MA. Steven is a Sales Development Specialist for Forrester Research, Inc. They are my hiking buddies! Steven graduated from Amherst College in 2014
Three years ago we purchased a lake front condominium on Lake Winnipesaukee.
My husband and youngest son Steven gutted the inside and we have been working on it ever since. Ron has done much of the work himself and we are 95% complete. It has been a labor of love and most definitely Ron’s “happy place”.
Life is good and we feel blessed!
